Why CID Chief Opted For Leave After Alliance Came To Power?

It has almost become a trend that officials who hold good positions in key departments go on leave whenever the power changes. Whatever might be the reason we have seen such things a few times. Yet again this happened with the chief of a department going on leave.

It is known that the power is shifted from YCP to alliance. The TDP leaders many times said that they were targeted by the agencies and officers by the ruling party. They cited the cases filed against the big names as an example. Chandrababu is accused in a few cases filed by the CID in the last term be it Skill Scam and others.

After the power shift AP CID Chief Sanjay Kumar surprised everyone by going on a leave. While it is said that he will be on leave for one month, what is surprising is that the CS gave the green signal for this.

As per the information that is coming from the media reports when the CID chief applied for a leave the CS is said to have approved and the CID chief is on a leave currently. He might return next month.

The CID chief going on leave suddenly grabbed everyone’s attention that too for one month. While there is no official response to this, many say that the CID chief might have opted to go on a leave fearing possible action.

Sanjay Kumar is CID chief in the state which filed many cases against CBN and Lokesh. While Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and sent to jail for an alleged skilled scam, Lokesh also faced a few cases and the issue went to the court’s notice.
