Comments On Kavitha’s Bail: CM Revanth Issues Apology!

After spending a few months in prison she was let out of the Tihar jail as the Apex Court granted her a bail. The issue took a political turn with political leaders passing big comments.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also made some shocking comments on this. It is said that he made comments of an opinion that the bail was granted with the pact between BRS and BJP. On the other hand the BJP leaders alleged a pact between Congress and BRS.
A Chief Minister making such comments grabbed everyone’s attention and created a sensation. The issue went to the notice of the Supreme Court and the Apex Court slammed the Chief Minister.
The bench of the Supreme Court expressed severe dissatisfaction with a Chief Minister making such comments. Saying that the court does its duty as per the conscience the bench is believed to have said that such comments send a wrong message to the public.
Amid this, the Chief Minister reacted to the issue and extended his regrets over this. The Chief Minister said that a few media reports attributed some comments that he might have questioned the judicial wisdom of the honorable court.
The firebrand leader made it clear that he has the highest regard and faith in the Indian judiciary and he is expressing unconditional regret for the statements that were reflected in the media reports. He also said that his comments were taken out of context.
“I reiterate that I am a firm believer of the judicial process.I unconditionally express my regret for the statements reflected in the press reports. The remarks attributed to me in such reports have been taken out of context. I have unconditional respect & highest regard for the Judiciary & its independence. As a firm believer in the Constitution of India and its ethos, I have and continue to hold the Judiciary in its highest esteem,” the Chief Minister said.
