The Delhi Liquor Scam created a sensation when it came to light. Back then the case increased the political heat with a few Ministers in Delhi getting arrested. The sensation around the case is not over yet as we are seeing sensational developments in the case to date. The other day Kavitha was taken into the ED custody.

Yet again the case saw a sensational development with the Chief Minister finally appearing before the Court and getting bail. With a bond and security, the Chief Minister was given bail by the Magistrate Court.

It is known that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is facing allegations in the case over an alleged money laundering angle. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) served notices to the Chief Minister to attend the hearing.

But the Chief Minister has been skipping the questioning and with this, the ED moved the Court. Hearing the petition the Court directed the Chief Minister to appear before it on the 16th of this month.

Following this, the AAP chief appeared before the Court. He was granted a big relief by the Rouse Avenue Court on a bail bond of Rs 50,000 and a surety of Rs 50,000. This can be seen as a big relief to the Delhi Chief Minister.

Back in February, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was directed to appear before the Court on the 17th. However, the CM said that he would attend the hearing virtually as there was a floor test. The Court said yes to this and adjourned the hearing. Now he was given bail.

The Delhi Liquor Scam talks about alleged irregularities in Delhi's Excise Policy. The Policy was brought to set up the retailed liquor sectors to sell liquor. It is alleged that a few leaders from the Aam Aadmi Party received money. In connection with the case, Delhi Deputy CM and others were arrested.
