We are done with the much-awaited general elections and the focus is now on the results which are slated to be commenced tomorrow. Looking at the ongoing developments it appears that the Congress party might have a favorable wind blowing in the state as the exit poll surveys hint the same.

The exit poll surveys gave a big hope to the Congress party that it might come to power as it might get more seats compared to the other parties in the state. If this happens the state would witness a power shift. Debates and discussions are going on about this.

In the wake of the possible favourable stint, the Congress party created a big sensation and moved the Election body. A few Congress leaders including TPCC Chief Rervanth Reddy met Telangana CEO Vikas Raj and complained against the BRS on a few aspects.

Congress party wants the Telangana CEO to put a tab on the government’s transactions. They are alleging that the state government is misusing its powers and that a focus is needed on what the government is doing. Four aspects were highlighted by the Congress party.

The Congress leaders alleged that the Rythu Bandhu scheme funds are diverted and the Telangana CEO should see that the funds are not diverted to the contractors. The party is also talking about the assigned lands and the alleged attempts to register.

The T-Congress leaders want the Telangana CEO to stop the registration of the assigned lands. The two other aspects Congress wants the CEO’s focus on are stopping the misuse of power and stopping the Cabinet from taking any decisions in the meeting which is scheduled to commence on the 4th of this month.

What Congress is doing is raising many eyeballs with people questioning if the move to meet the CEO is good or not. If the government changes and Congress comes to power it can cancel the decisions taken by the government.

BRS Cabinet Meeting is scheduled to be held on the 4th of this month, a day after the results are announced. If BRS wins then there will be no difference. If the power changes then it might make some difference. Even if BRS Cabinet takes any decision then they can be canceled if Congress comes to power. But Congress leaders now met the CEO.
