As an added advantage to the party, leaders from other parties are wearing the Congress shawl making it strong at the root level.
As part of the election preparations, the party released the first phase of candidates with 55 names, and the second list was also released. It looks like the date on which the candidates' list was released is not good. Aspirants who missed the party tickets are troubling the party with strong comments.
We have seen a few aspirants making strong comments on the party leadership and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Rervanth Reddy. The angry aspirants alleged that the tickets were sold for money and those who worked hard for the party were ignored.
Nagesh Reddy, uncle of Telugu hero Nithiin is also among the aspirants who hoped for an MLA ticket. When the first list did not mention his name, it is said that he pinned high hopes on the second list that his name would be included. But the party leadership shocked him. When he hoped for the Nizamabad rural segment seat, ex-MLC Bhupathi Reddy was given the seat.
Amid this backdrop, Nagesh Reddy is said to have expressed his dissatisfaction with his close circles that he was ignored by the party despite working with the party for a few decades.
Alleging that the tickets were allotted to the candidates under lobbying, Nagesh Reddy asked how he could be denied a ticket despite working hard for the party. Talking about his nephew Nithiin, he said that the actor is ready to campaign for him in the elections, but there is no such possibility now as he was not given a ticket.
