Ahead Of Elections Congress Releases Manifesto!

Congress recorded a landslide victory in the recent Karnataka elections with a big margin. With this, the party is using the same strategy in Telangana for the upcoming elections as well. Be it the election promises or the election campaign designed for the state we can see the similarities.

Now the Congress party released the manifesto for the elections. Six promises were made by the party. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge unveiled the manifesto covering various sections.

The party said that women would be given financial assistance of Rs 2500 per month. Gas cylinders will be provided at Rs 500. If the party is voted to power 200 units of free electricity will be provided. Women will be offered free travel on the buses.

Those who don't have their own house will be given sites. For the house construction, the government will give ₹5 lakh. Even the students have a special scheme under which Rs 5 lakhs will be given each.

Telangana movement fighters will be given a 250 sq yards housing site which is a big takeaway. As the party wants to come to power, it is stressing the Telangana movement. Senior citizens, widows, disabled, beedi workers, single women, and weavers will get a Rs 4000 pension every month.

A special scheme was also announced for the brides under which Rs. 1,00,000 and 10 grams of gold would be given to Hindu brides. For others, Rs. 1,60,000 will be provided for marriages.
