After a grand inauguration, the temple is opened and it is seeing good footfalls. The centuries-old dispute had an end with the Supreme Court's orders.
With the Ayodhya issue getting settled, a big question was raised on the remaining sites. The two sites are also having centuries-old disputes. Now Court made some crucial comments on a site and gave key orders.
A district court in Varanasi said that the survey report prepared by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on the complex will be given to both sides. The court heard a petition today and gave key orders.
The Court said that both sides will be given a copy of the survey report. However, both sides should file an affidavit seeking the report. While the report will be given to both sides it should not be made public.
The Court said that the hard copy of the survey report will be given to both sides and the report will be made public later. Both sides agreed to this and the report might be handed over tomorrow.
The dispute on the site is that the Hindu side has been saying the temple was demolished and then a Masjid was built on top of it. Saying the same, they want an ASI survey. However, the Masjid committee has been rubbishing the claims and wants no survey in the complex.
However, the Court gave orders for the survey earlier. The ASI completed the survey in the complex and submitted the same to the court. The report will be given to both sides and later it will be opened to the public.
