What did Hyderabad police commissioner say about Sandhya theatre incident?

The Sandhya theatre incident which resulted in the death of a common lady named Revathi has quickly become the focal point of several political discussions in Telangana. The Congress Government in Telangana led by chief minister Revanth Reddy is taking up the issue very seriously.

Now it is the turn of Hyderabad Police Commission CV Anand to react on this matter.

“In the recent incident of Sandhya theatre, we saw 40-50 bouncers and how reckless they are. There was public, police and everyone but they pushed everyone. They think only about the VIP. It is a warning to every bouncer that if they misbehave with the police, strict actions will be taken against them. The behaviour of the bouncer is the responsibility of the VIPs. They cannot blame the bouncer.” The commissioner said.

Adding further; the commissioner stated “We are issuing a warning to all bouncers that if they continue to behave disrespectfully with police officers, we will take strong legal action that they will remember. And if any bouncers act inappropriately, the responsibility will fall on the VIPs."

Anand then released the video footage of the series of events from the Sandhya theatre when Allu Arjun attend the screening of Pushpa 2.

Interestingly, enough, Hyderabad DGP Jitender, ACP Vishnu Kumar and Commissioner of Police himself, CV Anand have all reacted on the matter in a span of 12 hours.
