Cyber Attacks On India: What’s Happening?

This already known that India has announced a strategic strike against Pakistan over the recent Pahalgam attack which claimed the lives of 26 innocent Indian civilians. This is one of the major strategic operations done by the Indian army on the Pakistani landscape.

As expected, this has triggered a series of unprecedented attacks on the Indian cyberspace. The same can be understood by the fact that multiple countries including Pakistani, Palestine, Bangladesh and Iraq have launched a cyber espionage against India.

According to the latest reports as many as 36 teams from the mentioned countries have indulged in cyber attack operation against several leading websites in India.

The sole purpose of this operation is to destabilise the cyber environment of the country through such unsolicited attacks and somehow gain some sort of an advantage over India.

However, the majority of these cyber threats have been mitigated by the Indian authorities. These attacks are not likely to breach into the sensitive infrastructure of the leading websites so there’s no immediate threat on that front.

But nevertheless, the intentions something that must be countered adequately by the India government and also the cyber security community.
