By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Feb 2026 11:39 PM ISTIt is already know that Sakshi media has been operating on YSR Congress grounds and predominantly targets the TDP and Janasena leaderships. Now this narrative has landed Sakshi in legal trouble as Heritage foods, which is owned by Chandrababu Naidu’s family has filed a defamation suit against this Media channel.
The Delhi High Court has heard a defamation case filed by Heritage Foods against Sakshi Media Group for ₹100 crore. Heritage Foods approached the court after Sakshi Media published and telecast stories claiming that the company had links with Bolebaba Dairy.
The company argued that these reports were false and damaged its reputation. It told the court that such allegations could affect its business, brand value, and public trust.
After hearing the petition, the Delhi High Court issued notices to Sakshi Media. The court directed the media house to remove all related telecast links and online content within 24 hours. The judge made it clear that the content should be taken down immediately to prevent further damage.
The court also stated that if Sakshi Media fails to remove the links within the given time, major digital platforms like Meta, Google, and YouTube must take necessary action. This means these platforms may be asked to remove or block access to the content.
The case will continue in court, and further hearings are expected soon. We have to see where this matter would end up as Sakshi media is facing a 100 crore defamation suit, which is a pretty significant challenge.
