It is common for countries to face tough times with heavy downpours in the rainy season. No matter how big the nation is, it still faces a big challenge. We have seen how the United States went through a tough time with the heavy rain. In what could be a shocker, a desert nation received the highest rainfall and is struggling with waterlogging.

Dubai, which is known for high temperatures, was hit so badly by heavy rainfall that even the airports were flossed with water. As this is the situation inside the airport we can understand what would be the scenes on the roads.

Vehicles were stuck in the water and could not move. Not just cars, the same is the situation with heavy vehicles too. People are carefully walking on the roads due to waterlogging.

There is water everywhere including at the shopping malls and other places. Dubai witnessed the biggest rainfall in its history. Well, the situation might continue to be tough as the situation might continue for 24 hours more.

As if this is not enough the experts say that the seriousness of the heavy downpour is that Dubai experienced rainfall of around one and a half years in just a few hours. With this, almost everything came to a landstill. The flight services were halted and the check-ins were also stopped.

Educational institutions and workplaces are working remotely with this. Experts say that Dubai did not face such a heavy rainfall earlier and this should be seen as the heaviest downfall.

Not just Dubai, but the other UAE nations were also hit hard by the rainfall. Reports say that Oman is dealing with a tough time with this and as many as 18 people passed away and a few others are missing.
