The official confirmation of this feat has been received from the World Book of Records, London marking Devaansh as one of the finest young chess players globally.
In a stunning display of skill and concentration, Devaansh took on a series of challenging checkmate puzzles from the renowned chess book 5334 Problems, Combinations, and Games by Laszlo Polgar. Completing 175 puzzles in a short period, Devaansh proved his sharp strategic thinking and dedication to the game.
Devaansh’s success was made possible with the support of his parents, Brahmani and Lokesh, and the guidance of his coach, K Rajashekar Reddy. His father Lokesh Nara expressed pride in his son's focused training, saying, “Devaansh trains with great passion and has always been inspired by the achievements of Indian chess players. Thanks to Roy Chess Academy for making chess enjoyable!”
Devaansh also set two other records. He completed the 7-disc Tower of Hanoi puzzle in just 1 minute and 43 seconds, and arranged 9 chess boards with all pieces in their correct positions in just 5 minutes. All of Devaansh’s records were carefully verified by officials from the World Book of Records.
