Did KCR really contact PK over Telangana polls

It’s election time and the social media is abuzz with stories and stories. Tuesday witnessed an interesting social media story doing the rounds. Quoting a twitter handle, which goes by the name Gururaj Anjan, the media websites peddles stories that are certain about his defeat at the hustings, BRS boss KCR has had a three-hour-long telephonic chat with Prashant Kishore.

Anjan claimed that KCR sought PK’s help and that the latter had given some tips on handling anti-incumbency. The story appeared plausible as PK had earlier worked for KCR before the latter terminated his contract. The story also claimed that the support for the Congress Party is growing in Telangana at a very rapid pace all across.

However, both KCR and KTR were busy electioneering till late in the night on both Monday and Tuesday. They addressed three to four meetings a day and were among the public all through the day. How can they possibly have a three-hour-long meeting with PK is busy in his Bihar yatra and KCR in his campaign? This question was raised by several netizens.

Gururaj Anjan’s handle claimed that he is a poll strategist. His twitter profile does not give any details about him. For instance, it says he belongs to a southern state and does not name the state he belongs to. Also, his account says that he joined the Twitter, now X, only in November 2021 just two years ago. Many feel this could be a hoax account.
