YSRCP Working On Taking Star Director On Its Side!
Election fever gripped Andhra Pradesh as the poll-bound state will go to the polls in a few months
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 Jan 2024 6:35 AM GMTElection fever gripped Andhra Pradesh as the poll-bound state will go to the polls in a few months. The major parties in the state are busy with election preparation like drawing the strategies and selecting the candidates. The opposition parties joined hands for an alliance.
Political observers say that the Kapu factor might be a deciding one in the elections. As Pawan Kalyan allied with Chandrababu Naidu people say that the Kapu community might support the alliance. Moreover, the community has a population advantage given its population size.
In the wake of the Kapu factor fear, the YCP leadership is said to be focusing on wooing the community. Earlier it was reported that Vangaveeti Radha and Mudragada Padmanabham might join the ruling party and the seats that they might get were also fixed reportedly. The efforts are said to be part of attracting the community votes.
Now the YSRCP leadership is said to be eyeing to rope in a star director as a candidate. If everything goes well the star director might be fielded as the MP candidate in the upcoming polls. The party is trying hard to take him into the party, says the reports.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, YCP wants VV Vinayak as the MP candidate. He might be fielded as an MP from either Eluru or Rajahmundry. The two seats are said to be vacant for the 2024 polls as the existing candidates will not go to polls. With this, the star director might get a chance.
VV Vinayak is a popular face among the masses and he hails from the Kapu community. He is very close to the Mega family and other heroes too as he worked with them. All these factors might work for him if he gets a chance.
While the ruling party reportedly wants VV Vinayak on its side there is no clarity on how the star director responds. This is not the first time that the reports of him taking the political route started. But this time the reports are getting momentum as the elections are not that far away.
