When we talk about the United States and the issue the country faces, many say it is the growing gun violence and the threats it poses. But there is an issue which is troubling the country and the issue is getting problematic day by day. As an undercurrent, it is increasing.

It is known that the US has one of the highest divorce rates in the world. With each passing year, the rate is increased. Compared to 2020, the divorce rate increased massively and the Covid played a big role in this.

Now a recent report speaks volumes about the growing problem of this and the reasons for this. Forbes Advisor carried out a story to know the reasons which are driving divorces.

The participants said that lack of family support, infidelity, lack of compatibility, lack of intimacy, conflicts, and financial issues are the top reasons to go for divorce. More than 40 percent of participants said that not having family support is the major reason.

It is known that America doesn't have a strong family system like India does and the efforts family members put to see that a couple won't split is very less. With this, the issues between a couple lead to divorce.

On the other hand, the current generation who recently got married said that compatibility is the reason. If there are no common interests between them, then they are opting for divorce. More than 50 percent of couples went for divorce in the first year of the marriage with a Lack of compatibility.

Talking about the efforts for divorces, in most cases, only one partner initiates the process and the other side has to accept this. In very few cases, we see mutual consent.
