Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma has been dealing with political films of late. If we look at the recent films that came from the senior director the majority of the films are political films. His upcoming film Vyooham also revolves around the political picture in Andhra Pradesh.

The popularity of the dialogue was such that the old man became famous with the name of Kurchi thata. He was even called for an interview to promote the films.
