The President of United States, Donald Trump is one of the most dynamic and unpredictable personalities in global politics. In particular, he had been very rudimentary about the tariff that he had been imposing on global countries.

Now Donald Trump has communicated that he is imposing further tariff on European Union. “I am pleased to announce that, based on the fact the European Union is not complying with our fully agreed to Trade Deal, next week I will be increasing Tariffs charged to the European Union for Cars and Trucks coming into the United States.

The Tariff will be increased to 25%. It is fully understood and agreed that, if they produce Cars and Trucks in U.S.A. Plants, there will be no tariff. Many Automobile and Truck Plants are currently under construction, with over 100 Billion Dollars being invested, A record in the History of Car and Truck Manufacturing, Trump stated.

It needs to be said that this decision from Donald Trump to impose such tariffs on the European Union by ultimately mean good news for India. This is primarily due to the trade agreement that is already in place between India and European Union, which has very little tariff on European cars and trucks.

So there is every chance that the European Union could prioritise the Indian market over the domestic American market, which is being stuck by Trump tariffs. If this actually turns out to be the reality, then India fitness significantly lower prices on European cars, including the German ones.
