It is already known that the President of United States, Donald Trump has been taking part significant decisions with regard to international immigration policies. On one hand, he is looking to tighten the policies and on the other, he is looking to generate substantial revenue from the same.

Recently, Trump announced the new green card program through which anyone can get a green card by paying $5 million. Now he has introduced a new idea of posting thousand dollars to fast track the visa application of any immigrant applicant.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s team is planning a new rule where people applying for U.S. tourist or other short-term visas can pay $1,000 extra to speed up their visa interview. This “fast-track” option would be on top of the regular $185 visa fee. The goal is to let people move ahead in the line and get appointments sooner, especially in countries where wait times are very long.

This proposal is expected to be tested by December 2025. However, some legal experts in the U.S. government have raised questions. They say U.S. law does not allow the government to charge more than the actual cost of the service. So, the $1,000 fast-track fee might not be legal and could be blocked by courts or budget officials.

This idea is part of Trump’s tough immigration plans. He earlier suggested a “golden visa” that gives U.S. citizenship to wealthy people who pay $5 million.
