Trump Hits At India’s Tariffs, Exposes Weak Structure

The President of the United States, Donald Trump had been particularly aggressive when it comes to the kind of tariffs that other countries are imposing on the United States. After having hit back at countries like China and Japan, already, Trump has now set his focus on India.

Trump has now announced from the White House that India charges high tariffs on the United States and said that he is ready to reciprocate the same now.

“India charges us massive tariffs. Massive. You can't even sell anything in India. They have agreed, by the way; they want to cut their tariffs way down now because somebody is finally exposing them for what they have done.” Trump stated.

Trump said that the Indian government is now ready to bring down the massive tariffs that were earlier enforced. He said India is now ready to cut the tariffs after getting exposed for what they have done in the past.

Considering the aggressive nature of Trump, he appears to be enforcing more strict and severe tariffs on India in order to ensure that the country reciprocate by lowering the existing diff on the United States. This strategy appears to be working as Trump has now announced that India is ready to go bring down the tariffs that it was earlier enforcing on the United States.

These tariffs include a wide range of products, including electronics, gadgets, automobile, and other key components. So it has to be seen how India will react to the new tariff system that is being enforced by the Trump administration in the United States.
