Thanks To KTR, Telangana Natives Meet Families After Long Time!

The Hyderabad airport became the venue for intense and emotional movements as the families met their members. Those who return from abroad meet their family members usually at the airport. But the meeting is special as both sides are meeting after a long gap of 18 years.

Five men who belong to Telangana were sentenced to jail term in connection with a murder case. For killing a watchman a Court in Dubai slapped them with a jail term of 25 years. But they were released even before the term was completed and they reached Hyderabad.

After spending 18 years in jail they were released from jail and they met their families. The airport saw tense scenes as the accused met their families. There is KTR’s hard work behind their release.

Mallesh, Ravi, Hanmanthu, Venkatesh, and Laxman who hail from the Rajanna Sircilla district went to Dubai back in 2005. Shortly they were arrested for allegedly killing a watchman.

In 2011 KTR who was the then MLA from Sircilla took the initiative for their release. He met the Indian Consul General in Dubai and other officials for their release. Money was given to the victim’s family as compensation and sought their permission for the accused release.

The process was started and the accused were released. Four people were released so far and the remaining person would also be released soon.

As the case has come out KTR is getting good applause for his role in bringing the accused out of the jail who met their family members.
