India has a rich cultural history and ours is a land of temples. Take any region we can find marvelous temples and structures. For the past few years, we have been seeing a big cultural revival. As part of this, the famous temple sites are being renovated and developed.

A few years back, the temple city Kashi welcomed the Vishwanath Dham corridor. The multi-crore project connects the Vishwanath Temple to the banks of the River Ganga. This also helps the devotees explore the city without facing issues with the congested streets.

Now it is said that devotees are likely to get an opportunity to explore the submerged Dwaraka city. The Gujarat government and Mazgaon Dockyard landed in an agreement to explore submarine tourism in Dwaraka City under the water.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed by both parties to explore submarine tourism. Special vehicles would be developed that can go up 100 meters depth in the water so that the Drwaka area can be explored.

Dwaraka is one of the most popular temples in the country and attracts a good number of footfalls every year. People from other countries also visit the temple. This is the relevance the temple has.

Once the project gets finalized, the devotees will be able to explore the submarine tourism in Bet Dwarka. Only a limited number of tourists would be allowed in a vehicle at once while a guide would be assisting them to explain the details.

Gujarat is already one of the richest states in the country and once the project gets into affective we can know the true potential of the tourism sector in the state.
