EC Announces Date, Time To Announce Election Schedule!

All eyes are on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. All the major parties took the elections prestigiously and it is no wonder that the elections are getting all the attention. When the election schedule will be released is a doubt many have. 2024 is going to be high on political intensity.

Now the Election Commission made a big announcement on the schedule. The election body said that the notification for the Lok Sabha elections and general elections in a few states will be announced tomorrow. The time for the announcement was also fixed.

The schedule will be announced tomorrow at 3 PM and there will be a live on social media. The EC took to social media to break the official news.

“Press Conference by Election Commission to announce schedule for #GeneralElections2024 & some State Assemblies will be held at 3 pm tomorrow ie Saturday, 16th March. It will livestreamed on social media platforms of the ECI,” the tweet reads.

Besides the Lok Sabha elections, general elections are also due in four states namely Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, and Sikkim. The schedule for the elections in these states would also be announced.

The tenure of the current Lok Sabha, which marks the 17th Lok Sabha will end in June along with the four states. By this tomorrow the ECI will be announcing the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections and general elections.
