Andhra Pradesh opposition leader and also the former chief minister of the state YS Jagan had been named in multiple disproportionate assets cases back in 2010s. This is slowly starting to come back to haunt him now.

The enforcement director has now approached Telangana High Court with the petition of demanding the daily presence of Jagan at the court proceedings.

The enforcement directorate has approached the Telangana High Court regarding the pending cases on Jagan and multiple accused in this case. It was made to see that Jagan needs to face the legal consequences for his actions.

The EX appeared before the Telangana High Court on 23.09.2026, seeking a speedy, day-to-day trial and the personal appearance of all accused in the Prosecution Complaints against Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and 73 others.

This is in connection with allegations of large-scale corporate favors and massive quid pro quo investments into his family's companies, extended by the AP Govt during his late father Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy's tenure as CM.

If this is approved by the Telangana High Court, then it must be kept in mind that Jagan will have to appear in front of the court daily for investigation like he used to in the past.

But considering the fact that these cases are already pending at the CBI court in Hyderabad, it has to be seen if the Telangana High Court would be ready to intervene in this matter.
