Egg Prices Showing Stars To Consumers In Pakistan!

Pakistan and India started their journey at the same time. Cut to a few decades, there is a big difference between the two nations. Though both are developing nations, there is no comparison of where they stand now. India emerged as one of the biggest economies in the world.

On the other hand, Pakistan is buried in deep trouble. The financial situation of the country is not in good shape. As a result of the not-so-encouraging situations, the prices of groceries and other items are reaching the highest level showing tars to the consumers.

As per the media reports, Egg prices reached an all-time high price as one egg costs around Rs 32 per piece. One dozen costs a whopping Rs 389. We get around two trays of eggs for the same price in many nations. So we can imagine the soaring prices.

Looking at the reasons for this, inflation can be cited as one of the vital reasons. The inflation rates are showing stars to the people and the economy and it has become almost tough for the country to go through the challenge the inflation is posing.

On the other hand, the poultry sector is unable to import Soybeans, which are widely used for egg production. It is given as feed to the birds there to help them produce eggs. However, the unavailability of Soybeans is also showing its impact.

It is said that the clearance of soybeans for the imports was cleared. However, the official orders for the same are yet to be given which is stopping the poultry farmers from importing the soybeans. All these factors are showing stars to people who want to buy eggs.
