Interesting: This State Has Voters Who Are Above 120 Age!

The country already went into the election mood in the wake of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. As the elections are just a few months away the parties kept themselves busy with the preparation. Both ruling BJP and the opposition parties almost finalised the alliances with the allies.

Ahead of the 2024 General elections, an interesting thing has come out which says that there are over 200 people who are above the age of 120 and the people who belong to the age group of above 100 is also good.

As per the information, 205 voters are above 120 years old. This includes both men and women. There are 122 men above 120 while the rest 83 are women.

Not just that the population who belongs to the age group of 100-119 is also quite good with thousands of people. There are more than 5000 people in the age group as per the information. As many as 1976 men are in the age group while women are more in numbers with 3028 women.

Looking at the regions in the state with the most elderly voters Ludhiana is at the top followed by Ferozepur district. Punjab also has first-time voters in big numbers and there are more than four lakhs who would cast their votes for the first time.

One thing needs to be highlighted here. The elderly population is increasing in almost every nation due to various reasons. The same is the case with India. The increase in life expectancy due to good food habits and other aspects has a big role to play.
