Shocking: Electoral Bond Donations Are Worth Rs 11,671 Cr!

Ahead of the much-awaited Lok Sabha elections, the country’s top court, the Supreme Court gave a sensational verdict on the Electoral bonds and dubbed them as unconstitutional. The five-judge bench gave the verdict and also directed the State Bank of India (SBI) to make the details public.
The details were announced and the three major parties stood at the top place. The BJP, TMC, and Congress are in the top three positions with the donations. The regional parties are also not less in getting donations in big numbers.
As per the information, the ruling party at the Centre, the BJP received Rs 6061 Crores, the highest followed by All India Trinamool Congress(Rs 1,610 cr) and Congress(Rs 1422 cr). The three parties received the top three donations.
Future Gaming and Hotel Services Private Limited became the talk of the town as it made the highest donations. Santiago Martin floated the company back in 1991. His business expands to various sectors in India and outside the country too.
It is said that the company made massive donations worth Rs.1,368 crore. Martin has the tag of Lottery King of India as he started lotteries at an early age. Talking about the other companies which made the big donations Qwik Supply Chain Pvt Ltd(Rs 410 cr), Vedanta Ltd(Rs 400 cr), Haldia Energy Ltd(Rs 377 cr), and others.
Talking about the regional parties BRS is said to have received the highest donations with Rs 1,214 cr followed by Biju Janata Dal(Rs 775 cr), DMK(Rs 639 cr), YCP(Rs 337 cr), TDP(Rs 219 cr), Shiv Sena(Rs 158 cr), RJD(Rs 73cr), AAP(Rs 65 cr), and Janata Dal (Secular)-Rs 44 cr.
