By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Jun 2025 5:13 PM ISTIt is a fact that Elon Musk is one of the most controversial and also the debated individuals in the global political arena. After his historic involvement in the electoral campaign in the United States, he became one of the biggest global icon.
Coming to the topic, now, there have been certain media speculations about the possible drugging activity involving Elon. He had a pretty strong reaction to the same.
Elon Musk has once again challenged media reports accusing him of drug use by releasing a fresh drug test report. The controversy started after The New York Times published an article claiming that Musk regularly used ketamine and other substances during the 2024 Trump campaign. In response, Musk underwent a urine drug test on June 11 at a lab in Austin, Texas.
The test checked for multiple substances, including ketamine, ecstasy, cocaine, amphetamines, LSD, and fentanyl. On June 17, Musk posted the negative results on social media with a simple “lol” caption, suggesting that the accusations were baseless.
Not stopping there, on June 19, Musk renewed his attack on the media by re-posting the test results and directly calling out The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. He labeled them “fake journalists” and challenged them to take similar drug tests and share their results publicly.
However, some critics pointed out that urine tests only detect recent drug use, typically within the last 2 to 10 days. They argue that a more reliable method, like a hair follicle test, could provide a clearer picture of long-term substance use. The debate continues as Musk remains firm in defending his reputation.
