Roughly a year ago, it can be noted that billionaire Elon Musk was an integral part of the Donald Trump presidential campaign in the United States of America. But cut to today, the two of them are in absolute pathetic terms as there is a complete fallout between these two powerful individuals.
It has reached a point where Elon has pointed out that he is contemplating the idea of launching his own political party in the United States of America.
Elon has announced that there is the need to create a new political discourse in the United States, apart from the existing Republican and Democratic parties.
While Trump is preparing to impose the new "Big Beautiful Bill", here’s what Musk had to say about the same.
"If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day. Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE."
Elon Musk’s post reflects frustration with a $5 trillion debt ceiling increase in the Senate’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” a figure 25% higher than the House’s $4 trillion proposal, driven by provisions like a permanent standard deduction expansion and a $2,200 child tax credit, as reported by NPR on June 28, 2025, amid debates over fiscal responsibility post-Trump’s election.
It is evident that Elon is completely opposing this new bill proposed by Trump, which is likely to be passed in the Senate at all costs. This has triggered him to announce his potential plan to launch a new political party in America.
