It is an established fact that there was a lot of demand for software jobs and MBA profiles back in the day, but things are starting to change due to the AI onset. Now we are witnessing something significant.

It is being reported that one of the leading technological experts in India Anantha Nageswara has revealed that the era of software boom and MBA degrees is coming to an end.

The era that favoured software jobs and MBA degrees is coming to an end and that the country must place greater value on trade skills such as welding, plumbing, electrical work and carpentry, he said in this matter.

This is primarily due to the AI revolution which has automated the coding structure amongst IT companies, which is becoming a huge headache for the entry level coding jobs. He has advised the people to instead shift for physical jobs like plumbing and electrical works for better opportunities.

However, this is not being entirely appreciated by the senior members of the IT community, as it is being reported that the entire sector cannot be wiped out as such.

The era of software jobs and MBAs will not end but they will have to upgrade their skills.

Of course skills are being given their due and will continue to be given their due. However, eventually robots can replace a portion of these skills too, an expert commented.

It is crucial to upgrade the skills at a fundamental level and enhance the reach with other technological advancements, and this is a crucial piece of advice for all the concerned job holders out there.
