What Etela Said On Properties In Election Nomination?

In the wake of the upcoming elections election fever gripped Telangana. The major parties in the state already fixed the candidates for the polls who are busy with campaign activities. While the ruling BRS announced the candidates in a single phase, the opposition parties Congress and BJP released the candidates list in a phased manner.

The candidates are on a spree of filing the nominations. One after the other the candidates are filing the nominations. Now it's the turn of former Cabinet Minister Etela Rajender who is trying his luck in two constituencies to file the nomination for the upcoming elections.

As per the reports, Etela Rajender’s brother submitted the election nomination to the officer with the details of assets and properties he and his family possess. While there are immovable properties worth Rs 12.50 crores in his name the assets he has are worth Rs 16.74 lakhs. He has debts worth Rs 3.48 crores but has just one lakh in hand.

On the other hand, his wife has immovable properties worth Rs 14.78 crore and assets worth Rs 26.48 crore. There are gold ornaments that weigh around 1500 grams and Rs 15.51 crore debts. Despite this, she has just one and a half lakh cash in hand.

Etela Rajender who has been with the BRS had issues with the party chief and shifted sides. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party from the BRS and contested the by-polls. The ex-minister won the elections and he is now gearing up for another intense election.

Besides sticking to his Huzurabad seat Etela Rajender is also contesting the Gajwel seat the strong zone of Chief Minister KCR. We can see two big fights in these two constituencies in the upcoming elections.
