A shocking murder case was unearthed by the cops in Hyderabad. The issue grabbed everyone’s attention as the victim was said to be a producer in the past. The victim is a 71-year-old who is an NRI. Such a person getting killed came as a surprise to one and all.
As per the media reports that are doing rounds, one Anji Reddy(71) who hails from Hyderabad’s Padma Rao Nagar was found dead. It is said that he was killed by the accused due to disputes over assets. Anji Reddy was a producer in the past reports say.
He has two sons and one daughter. While one son stays at Mokila, other children are settled abroad. Anji Reddy and his wife got American citizenship. As they wanted to settle down there, the couple decided to sell the properties they had in Hyderabad.
As per the reports, Anji Reddy was friends with Ravi Katragadda, a Cinematographer by profession. With this, Anji Reddy told Ravi that he wanted to sell the properties and sought his help. Anji Reddy left for US and Ravi posted about the properties for sale in the WhatsApp Group of relators.
Later GR Convention Owner Rajesh came into the picture. After meeting Anji Reddy Rajesh reportedly told him that he was interested in buying the properties and gained the trust of Reddy. With Anji Reddy reportedly developing trust in Rajesh, Reddy told him about the other property he has in Saidabad.
As per the reports Rajesh is said to have decided to get both properties without paying any money. So he reportedly prepared a draft saying that he paid Rs 2.1 crores to Anji Reddy in two installments and Rs 50 lakhs to his wife.
On the other hand, Anji Reddy reportedly wanted to buy a villa in a gated community. He reportedly went there to see the house along with Rajesh. When Anji Reddy’s son called him he did not respond.
Later, Rajesh reportedly called Anji Reddy’s son and said that he was met with an accident. When Anji Reddy’s son filed a police complaint, a probe was launched and the investigation reportedly took them to Rajesh.
