In a shocking turn of events, the diplomatic ties between India and Canada had gone for a toss.No one would have predicted that the two nations would see such situations. The shocking allegations leveled by the Canadian Prime Minister paved the way for this and the further development made the path wider.

What happened is a big concern given the fact that both nations have been friendly nations for a very long time. The problematic ties also raised many concerns about the safety of Indians living in Canada. Amid this, a big development is said to have happened.

As per the media reports Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly held a secret meeting with Indian Minister of External Affairs, S Jaishankar. The meeting is said to have happened in America's Washington a few days back. It has been reported that the motto of the meeting is to address and sort out the issues with India.

After Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau raised a few doubts about the possible hand of Indian agents in the killing Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the status quo of the relations changed largely. India also hit back saying that the allegations are absurd.

It is said that Canada is making the best efforts to end the crisis with India. Recently, it was reported that India asked Canadian diplomats to leave the country before the deadline.

India and Canada are also involved in trade as well. Canada imports jewellery, Crustaceans, Iron and Steel, Pharmaceutical products, Bandages, and others.

Considering all these factors Canada cannot take the risk of continuing the crisis with India, which emerged as a global player over the years. So putting an end to the crisis is the only option for Canada and the country is doing the same.

The alleged secret meeting between Canadian Foreign Minister and Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar in the US is also said to be aimed at the same. The news is carried out by the London-based Financial Times and the possibility of this cannot be ruled out.
