Criminal Cases Against Yellow Media For Spreading Fake News!

Media has a big role to play in a democracy. It is regarded as the fourth estate as it educates people on various issues. Media should not take any side in covering the news and it should cover the news as it is. But the yellow media lives in its own world and takes a clear stand in covering the news.
We can see a clear difference in the way the yellow media covers the news. When the party it likes is in power then the yellow media gives a picture that there are no issues in the state and everything is going on perfectly. The news is covered in such a way that the whole nation is looking at the state.
If others are in power then the yellow media shows its ugly side. We have been seeing this in Andhra Pradesh in the past few years. The yellow media is not leaving any stone unturned to target YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his government. They link everything that happens in the state. If there is no news then the media creates news to make people believe that something bad is happening.
As a classic example of how low the yellow media can stoop to spread fake news, a news story was created out of nothing and they even put up poetic titles. But the government decided to not leave the media houses and journalists for the wrong portrayal of the news. The District Education Officer has given orders to the Vissannapetaa Mandal Education Officer to file criminal cases against the concerned media organizations.
How Low They Can Stoop?
The Vissannapeta ZP High School was renovated by spending a big amount of Rs 66 lakhs under the Naadu-Nedu program. The school was equipped with facilities like new benches, and clean toilets. There is also greenery. New buildings were built with additional facilities. With this, a few old buildings and asbestos-sheeted buildings were left alone. Due to the heavy rains, there was rain in the old buildings.
However, the concerned journalists at the media organizations came up with an evil plan. They took the students who are playing in the promises into the old buildings and took their pictures and videos. This was found in the investigation. Though there is no trouble there, they created a picture that the facilities are not good in the school. Not happy with the fake news, the government gave orders to slap the yellow media with criminal cases.
They made the students hold umbrellas inside the buildings to say that water is coming into the building. They have put catchy titles for this.
