Varalakshmi Tiffins, one of the popular hotels in the city is in the headlines with the owner getting arrested. Media reports say that he and a few others were arrested for smuggling drugs. Drugs worth multiple lakhs were also seized in connection with the case and arrest.

The arrest sheds light on the dark side of the Varalakshmi Tiffins in Hyderabad. As per the media reports, Varalakshmi Tiffins owner Prabhakar Reddy is allegedly involved in the smuggling of banned substances like cocaine and MDMA. People who are involved in this procure drugs from Goa and sell them here.

Prabhakar Reddy, owner of another entity, and a woman are said to be partners in this and get the drugs to Hyderabad. After arresting them and digging deeper into the case, the cops are said to have sensational details on the way their gang work and how their business runs.

It is a big shock that the owner of one of the happening tiffin centers is into the alleged drug smuggling and a woman is also a part of this racket. It is said that the woman acts as a drug peddler in this.

After the news broke out, people were in shock. Social media is filled with memes and jokes on this with netizens joking if this is the reason behind the taste of the food items sold in the tiffin center.

It is known that recently an unfortunate incident was reported where a customer is believed to have been beaten to death at the Meridian Restaurant in Punjagutta for asking for extra raita for Biryani. The concerned Sub-Inspector and Head Constable were also suspended in connection with the case. The eatery was shut down temporarily and five staff from the eatery were arrested. Now the Varalakshmi Tiffins case came to light.
