Divorce is still seen as a taboo in society and very rarely do we get to see a woman getting support after having a divorce. When married women get the thought of going for a divorce, their family members and friends try to make them understand to not go for the decision.

But a father defined all the odds and gave a hero welcome to his daughter who got a divorce. The parents welcomed their daughter amid bands and cheers from others. The viral incident became the talk of the town and everyone is talking about it in the country.

This incident was reported from Jharkhand’s capital city Ranchi. A father sets a big example by bringing his daughter to his house from her in-laws' house in a big way. A baraat-like celebrations were held. She was welcomed amid cheers and support from the neighbors.

A man named Prem Gupta lives in Ranchi. His daughter Sakshi was married to Sachin Kumar last year. After marriage, it was found that Sachin was married earlier. Despite knowing this, Sakshi decided to adjust with her husband. However, her husband reportedly started showing his true colours.

Sachin Kumar started harassing Sakshi. Unable to cope up with this, Sakshi decided to take a divorce and she informed the same to her parents. They supported and welcomed her with the decision.

While Sakshi was coming to her parents' house from the in-laws' house, her father Prem Gupta arranged for a grand welcome to her. The video of the daughter getting a grand welcome is doing rounds on social media.

Prem Gupta said that daughters are very precious and when they take such decisions they should be supported. When the husband and his family turns out to be wrong and harass daughters, we should support them, he said.
