YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took oath in the Assembly just a while ago. However, there is a change in stature compared to earlier. In 2019 he entered the Assembly as the Chief Minister with 151 legislators by his side. But things have changed now.

From 151 his party slipped to just 11 seats. YCP did not even get the status of the opposition party in the state. Earlier there was a talk that he might not enter the Assembly. However, Jagan entered the Assembly, and Pro-tem speaker Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary administered his oath.

Jagan taking oath in the house went viral. His fans calculated the clip saying that the YCP chief entered the house and took oath. However, the ceremony grabbed everyone’s attention as people were saying Jagan was given good respect by the new government.

It is said that Legislative Affairs Minister Payyavula Keshav gave orders to the officials to allow Jagan’s vehicle into the House premises. There is a protocol on allowing the vehicles of Chief Ministers, Opposition leaders, and others.

Not just the ruling side, the opposition party is also crucial in a democracy like ours. But YCP is not in opposition as it could not get the required number of seats. Despite this, the new government respected the former CM of the state.

As the former Chief Minister of the state, he was respected and his vehicle was allowed till the house's premises. While what happened is good news, a section of people are highlighting how the TDP leaders were mocked and used objectionable language as used by YCP in the last term.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu took oath first followed by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The Cabinet Minister took oath next and then Jagan was invited to the podium.
