It's been four months since the state has been burning. Violence has been happening in the state since then. Though peace efforts were made, they did not give any positive outcomes. For the past 15 days, Parliament has been seeing tense situations. The opposition parties have been fighting to make Prime Minister Modi speak on this. Amid this, the incident of women parading naked on the road came to light. Since then, one after the other sensational incidents are coming out. Houses were torched, and incidents of attacks and gang rapes are coming out.

35 Dead Bodies in Mortuary:

Not one or two, 35 dead bodies are lying in the mortuaries for around four months. It is said that there are a few issues in the mass cremation of the bodies. The Union Home Ministry and High Court intervened in this and said that the tensions increase further if the mass cremation happens. CM Biren Singh said that over 40 militants were killed in just one day in June. This tells us about the tense situation between the communities in Manipur. However, tension gripped the state after three people died in the attack by militants at midnight on Friday. The intense firing happened between the security forces and protestors.

Bishnupur District:

Ever since the violence started in Manipur, we have been hearing a lot about Bishnupur, and Churachandpur. Now three people lost their lives in the firing started by miscreants in Bishnupur. The violence started again after Friday midnight. It is said that the deceased hail from the Meitei community in Kwakta. Unidentified miscreants fired at the victims all of a sudden. The incident claimed the lives of a father and son and another person. The accused are said to be militants. The miscreants going past the buffer zone and starting fire created a big sensation locally.

Tense Situation Again:

Tense situations arose in Kwakta with the recent firing. Later, protestors reportedly set a few houses of Kukis on fire. Security forces swung into action later. An intense firing is said to have happened. One commando reportedly sustained injuries. Paramilitary forces were deployed in big numbers in Kwakta. The situation in Bishnupur is said to be critical.

Looted Weapons Used For Attack?

The rioters spread their wings in Bishnupur on Thursday night and looted a few weapons. They attacked the police armory at the Reserve Battalion Headquarters in the Naranseina area and robbed the weapons. Two days back, a clash happened between the security forces and protestors that left 17 injured. So there are a few doubts about whether the looted weapons were used for the attacks.
