Gaddar's son ready to contest on Congress ticket?

Was Left-leaning bard Gaddar aka Gummadi Vithal Rao planning to contest against Chief Minister KCR in Gajwel in the elections that would be held later this year? Was he upset that the CM did not give him an appointment despite repeated requests? Was Gaddar getting ready to accept a ticket from the Congress Party?

Gaddar's son Suryam claimed that his father lost a chunk of his land due to the construction of a project and wanted land in lieu of the land lost. He wanted to meet Chief Minister KCR to plead his case. But' despite repeated requests' chief minister KCR did not give him an appointment. Angered by this' Gaddar wanted to contest against KCR in Gajwel.

Suryam' who gave an interview to an online daily' has claimed that Gaddar wanted to contest from the Congress ticket. He further said that Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Revanth Reddy had helped Gaddar and his family in many ways. Suryam expressed his gratitude to Revanth Reddy.

Suryam has also clarified that he did not study in the US as was being claimed by some social media users. He said that he had studied in the local schools. He further said that he was ready to carry forward the ideals that his father strove for. He said he was ready to contest elections if given an opportunity.
