Ex MLA, Vijayasai Reddy's Brother-in-law To Take TDP Route!

The TDP which suffered a big loss in the previous elections is working hard to bring back the lost glory. The opposition party is not leaving any stone unturned in putting in its best efforts. As a shot-in-the-arm effort, a former MLA is all set to take the TDP route and wear the yellow shawl.

Former MLA Gadikota Dwarkanatha Reddy will join the opposition party today in the presence of TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu. His Niece Alekhya is also likely to join the party along with him.

Dwarkanatha Reddy is the brother-in-law of YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy. He is also related to Nandamuri Actor Taraka Ratna who passed recently as Reddy is the uncle of Alekhya, wife of Taraka Ratna.

The reason behind Gadikota Dwarkanatha Reddy joining the TDP is said to be the party ticket. It is being reported that he is eyeing the Rayachoti MLA seat and he might discuss the same when he meets Chandrababu and might get an assurance if everything goes well.

Reddy taking the TDP route is more like a homecoming as he was with the Telugu Desam Party in the past. In the combined Andhra Pradesh he served as the Lakkireddypalle constituency in 1994. After around three decades he is all set to take the grand old TDP route.

When he was denied a ticket in 1999 he joined the Congress party. But could not get the ticket. Later he joined the YSRCP. Of late he is not active in politics and now he is all set to join the TDP.
