Gautam Bounces Back, Enters Top 20 Richest People

Gautam Adani attracted the attention of the world by becoming the world’s richest person. His growth in worth was such that he reached places that even Reliance boss Mukesh Ambani could not reach. Recently he became the talk of the town as he secured a big loan from the United States.

Gujarat-based business tycoon bounced back as he managed to enter the Bloomberg Billionaire Index (BBI) and he secured the 15th position on the list. His jump in net worth helped him reach the position and he is now the second richest in the country after Ambani.

As per the information shared by the Bloomberg Billionaire Index (BBI), Gautam Adani’s new worth now stands at a massive $82.5 billion after it increased by around $12.3 billion. With this, he stood at the 15th place in the world.

The index said that Gautam Adani added $10 billion to his net worth in the past few days as the stocks of the companies increased by big numbers. The rise in the stocks resulted in the growth say the index.

Tracking the rise of Gautam Adani a few days back he was on the 20th spot on the list. Cut to a few days he surprised everyone by jumping four places. He is even closing in on Mukesh Ambani who is at the top position among the Indians.

It is said that the Adani Group shares saw a rise by around 20 percent after the company managed to get a loan from the United States despite the allegation of corporate fraud by America-based firm Hindenburg Research. With this, he bounced back.
