Gautami Parts Ways with BJP, Citing 'Lack of Support'

After a quarter-century affiliation with the BJP, veteran actor Gautami Tadimalla made the difficult decision to part ways with the party, citing a "lack of support" and a disheartening revelation about alleged collusion involving her.

In a heartfelt resignation letter shared publicly, Gautami revealed that she found herself at an "unimaginable point" in her life, making the painful choice to disassociate herself from the BJP party. The actress also went on to make some troubling allegations. She claimed that an individual named C Alagappan had entered her life two decades ago, recognizing her vulnerability and isolation. At the time, Gautami was not only dealing with the loss of both her parents but also raising an infant child as a single mother. Trusting Alagappan with the management of her properties, she eventually discovered a shocking betrayal. It became apparent that he had defrauded her, all while putting on a facade of welcoming Gautami and her daughter into his own family.

In the midst of legal proceedings to address this betrayal, Gautami expressed her profound disappointment with the lack of support she received from the party that she had faithfully served. Furthermore, she made the distressing claim that certain senior members of the BJP were actively assisting Alagappan in evading justice. The situation had become deeply disheartening for Gautami.

Despite her resignation, she continued to hope that justice would prevail through the efforts of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, the police department, and the judicial system. Gautami asserted that her decision to leave the BJP was driven by her unwavering determination to fight for justice, not only for herself but also for the future of her daughter, in her role as a lone woman and single parent.
