Official: Google Mega Project in AP!

The news has been officially communicated now. Tech giant Google has intimated that they are setting up a mega data Centre in the Visakhapatnam city of Andhra Pradesh and a related agreement was signed by the Google representatives along with the government of Andhra Pradesh.

We are excited to announce our largest-ever investment in India: $15 billion to establish our first full-stack AI Hub in India. The multi-faceted investment in Visakhapatnam will deploy cutting-edge infrastructure, establish a new international subsea gateway, and deliver gigawatt-scale compute to power services globally, the confirmation from Google read.

The company has categorically confirmed that they would be investing as much as $15 billion in this mega AI hub that would be established in Vizag. Rather than a single time investment, this entire project would take at least five years and strategic investments would be made to the tune of 15 billion.

This is going to be one of the biggest investment projects in the history of Andhra Pradesh and would set the right kind of momentum for further more investments in the state.

Google is one of the leading investors in India and they have started to establish their data hub in Andhra Pradesh, which would also boost the social economical status of the state.

Chief Minister Chandrababu and Minister Lokesh were present at the Delhi ceremony as they signed the agreement with the representatives belonging to Google for this mega project.
