Google Maps help us navigate to the destination. YouTube is a useful tool for entertainment. Keeping it in simple terms Google plays a key role in one's life.
All of this is in the news as Google rolled out the inactive policy under which the accounts that are not in use would be deleted. It is said that Google warned users that it would delete inactive accounts if not used frequently.
As per the information that is coming, Google might start deleting the inactive account from the 1st of December. Gmail and Photos content would be deleted if they are not active. There are around 2 billion users across the globe as per the estimation.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, the accounts which are not been used for around two years would be deleted. Accounts that have not been used since 2021 would be in danger and might be deleted by the tech giant.
Gmail is also linked to Google Photos and Google Drive where users store data like photos and vidoes. If the accounts are deleted the data would also be deleted automatically. Users who are not using the accounts regularly are in danger as per the news.
Users who don't want to get their accounts deleted should start using the accounts at least by now or else their accounts will be deleted and the data that is linked to the accounts like photos and vidoes will also get deleted which is a big concern.
