Finally, Indian Govt Locks Single Car For Officials!

For a long time, now, the Indian administration had been facing several complaints for gross base of public funds for government officials and Cabinet ministers. It has become a regular practice for government representatives to roll around in multiple cars as they wish.

But finally, the government has taken a pretty consolidated decision against this prospect as they have mandated the proposal of usage of one single car per minister and representative, regardless of the position.

In a move aimed at curbing misuse of government vehicles and tightening expenditure controls, the Ministry of Finance has barred senior bureaucrats from being allotted more than one official staff car.

This app applies to every single cabinet minister even if they hold additional charge of another ministry, department, public sector undertaking (PSU) or autonomous body.

This is a very crucial decision taken by the Indian government in order to reduce the burden on financial matters. There is simply no reason for officials and public representatives to use multiple cars when a single vehicle can do the job for them.

This is socially and financially conscious decision taken by the authorities, and it has to be seen what would be the reaction from the representatives on this matter.

But for now, the social media folk are reacting very positively to this development as they are happy that the government is finally starting to reduce the financial burden of these multiple convoy cars.

It appears that the current generation revolution that initiated the resignation of education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan has bought some sort of accountability to the whole system.
