We are living in a technology-driven world as our lives revolve around it. The prominence of technology is such that we cannot imagine our lives without it. Technology has both positive and negative impacts and it depends on how consumers use the technology. We have seen the positive impact of the technology.

As an example of the negative aspect of technology, doctors who used GPS instructions while driving ended up breathing their last. This shocking incident is reported from God’s own country Kerala. Media reports say that this happened on Sunday.

Going into details, Adwaith(29) and Ajmal(29) who are doctors by profession are working with a private hospital were traveling in a car. Their friends are also on the vehicle which met with an accident.

It is said that there was a big rain when the accident happened. Adwaith was driving the car and was reportedly using the GPS instructions as they were returning to Kodungallur. The GPS maps got rerouted and the driver mistook the water for a road.

It was too late by the time they realized the mistake. While two victims breathed their list the remaining people in the car were rescued.

First, the visibility was very low due to heavy rains and the GPS gave them wrong directions. With this, the car went into a river and two doctors breathed their last.

After the car fell into the river, the locals heard the sound and rushed there. They acted fast and rescued three people who were later taken to the nearby hospital. The cops were informed about this and they reached the spot.

The injured persons were taken to the hospital. A case has been filed and an investigation is underway. Further details in this case are awaited.
