The other day a Court granted a Bail to the serving Chief Minister in a much-talked-about case. He was supposed to walk out of the jail. But the issue took a big turn with the High Court giving a stay order. The happiness did not last long as far as the bail is concerned.

The Delhi Liquor case is a sensation in the country. Adding fuel to this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested making him the first serving CM to get arrested. It's been a few months since he was arrested. The Delhi's Rouse Avenue court granted him the Regular bail giving him a big relief.

However, there was a twist in the tale. The Enforcement Directorate which is probing the matter moved the High Court challenging this. In what could be a big twist the High Court stayed the Bail. In the orders, the High Court stayed the Bail till it hears the petition.

The National media is saying that the lawyer who represented the ED said they were not allowed to place their arguments and their request to not implement the bail orders for 48 hours was also ignored. With this, they knocked on the doors of the High Court.

The Chief Minister was arrested in the case earlier in March this year. His Aam Aadmi Party and opposition parties alleged that he was wrongly arrested in the case and questioned the time of arrest ahead of the polls.

Recently he was granted an interim bail for the Lok Sabha polls. He and Congress campaigned in the polls. However, the BJP swept the seats and won all seven.

Talking about the liquor case it is said that huge money was involved in the Liquor policy brought by the Aam Aadmi Party-led Congress party in Delhi. Money was taken to benefit a few entities to run the liquor stores.
