BAPS (Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha) built the temple which spread across 27 acres. The temple was built in a way that reflects the Hindu Dharma. Narendra Modi reached the UAE to take part in the inauguration. On this occasion let us have a look at the specialities of the temple. The temple which was built prestigiously has a lot of specialities.
-It is known that Arab Emirates is a combination of seven countries. To reflect this, seven towers were built in the temple.
-The temple was built near the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway in an area of 55 thousand square meters. This temple is the biggest in West Asia.
-The temple was constructed in the dynamics of 108 feet high,262 feet long and 180 feet wide.
-The marble imported from Rajasthan was used for the temple construction. The Italian Marble was used for the outside construction.
-Thousands of sculptors and workers worked for three years to be a part of the temple construction.
-402 Marble pillars were set up at the temple. On every pillar, there are Sculptures of deities, Peacocks, Elephants, Camels, the Sun and Moon, and Musical Instruments.
-Around Rs 700 crores were spent on temple construction. Around 2,000 people from Rajasthan and Gujarat worked on the project. Like Ayodhya Steel, Concrete and Cement were not used in temple construction. Using the latest technology, the rocks were linked.
-More than 25,000 spare parts were prepared in India by experts for the temple construction. The spare parts were assembled in the UAE and used for the construction. Two community halls were constructed in temple premises which can accommodate 5,000 people. Another building was constructed for the devotees' stay. It was constructed in Arabian and Islamic style.
The stories of Ramayana, Shiva Purana, Bhagavatam, Maha Bharatam, Jagannadh, Sri Venkateswara, and Ayyappa were also sculpted on the stones.
Artificial flow and special focus lights were set up under the temple to reflect the Ganga and Yamuna rivers.
In the temple premises, there are praying halls, exhibitions, learning areas, playing areas, lawns, water features, food courts, and book shops. Sensors were set up during the temple construction to show the climate changes.
During his 2015 visit Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed many things with UAE Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Later the government decided to construct the temple. 13.5 acres of land was allocated. In 2019 another 13.5 acres were allocated. In total 27 acres of land were allocated.
