H1B Slots Back In Hyderabad, But Bad News!

The search for H1B visa slots in Hyderabad has been through the roof in the recent months as the United States Embassy has not been very consistent with the scheduling of the same.

After months of frustration and zero visible availability, a small number of U.S. Visa Application Centre, Hyderabad appointment slots for the H-1B visa briefly appeared online, only to disappear within minutes.

Several applicants managed to grab dates, including a few for H-4 visa categories, but the window was extremely short lived.

For nearly three months, applicants had been reporting that no new interview slots were opening in Hyderabad. Many professionals who travelled to India for personal reasons found themselves stuck, unable to return to their jobs in the United States due to the lack of appointments.

This sudden release created a rush, with hundreds logging in at the same time, leading to the slots being booked almost instantly.

Visa aspirants say the situation has worsened since late 2025 due to stricter background checks, additional document scrutiny, and delays in processing. Some applicants claim their earlier interview dates were pushed far into the future, even extending into mid 2027 in rare cases.

The core issue appears to be massive demand combined with limited appointment capacity. Even when slots open, the overwhelming rush makes it nearly impossible for most people to secure a date. As a result, uncertainty continues for skilled workers waiting for a chance to complete their visa process and resume work abroad.
