Hyderabad Police Bust International Fraudulent Call Centre, Arrest 60

In a significant operation, the Cyber Security Bureau of Hyderabad police have apprehended a group accused of operating a fraudulent call centre aimed at deceiving individuals abroad. The raid resulted in the detention of 60 individuals, including Manavini, who hails from Gujarat. This criminal enterprise was conducting its operations under the guise of "Excito Solutions," situated in the bustling Hi-Tech City of Hyderabad. Spearheaded by Manavini, the operation was a collaborative effort with Kaiwan Patel, Pratik, and Rahul. The team employed a number of individuals from the northeastern regions to act as telecallers, engaging in deceitful activities primarily targeting American citizens.

The police operation unveiled the extent of the fraud, with authorities confiscating a total of 63 laptops and 52 mobile phones from the premises. The scam involved convincing victims that their bank accounts had been compromised and subsequently offering solutions to rectify the alleged hacking. Through these means, the culprits were able to illicitly acquire sensitive information, including bank account details as well as debit and credit card information, leading to financial loss for the victims.

This bust highlights the sophisticated methods employed by cybercriminals to exploit unsuspecting individuals. The involvement of a significant number of operatives and the elaborate setup indicates a well-organized scheme aimed at maximizing the scope of their fraudulent activities.
