The remand report clearly states that ImmadI Ravi is the main person behind the iBomma piracy network. Cybercrime police collected solid technical evidence that directly connected him to the website.
During questioning, Ravi accepted his crime and explained how he created and operated multiple piracy websites for movies. Police said that Ravi used different domains and servers to hide his identity, but the technical trail finally exposed him.
The investigation became stronger after police received support from the Public Domain Registry. Through this, officers traced details of several domains registered by Ravi.
According to the report, he created 17 websites under the names “iBomma” and “Bappam.” He also set up two special “traffic domains” to divert users from piracy sites to betting websites. This helped him earn money through advertisements and illegal promotions.
Police mentioned that these two traffic domains played a key role in catching him. When officers tracked the movement of data from these domains, they found direct links to Ravi’s systems and online activities. This evidence helped them confirm his involvement and arrest him. The remand report says the entire piracy network, its operations, and money flow were explained by Ravi himself during the investigation.
